Our Collection Notice explains how we collect, use and share your Personal Information in a simple and easy to follow format. This notice covers our business operating under the following brand, SEEK Recruiter Profile
You can view our Privacy Policy for more detailed information (including relevant definitions (Section 17) applicable to this Collection Notice).
We collect different types of information about you depending on how you interact with us and use our products and services. We typically collect basic information such as your name, email address, Usage, Device and Location Data.
Where you are a Recruiter setting up a Profile, or claiming a Profile Page, we may collect information that you choose to include in your Profile (such as your personal summary, career history, profile photo, professional classifications, work location, and licences and certifications).
Where you are a Candidate or Employer connecting with a Recruiter or leaving a review, in addition to the information on your Profile, we may also collect additional Personal Information that you include in those communications. Candidate resumes may also be collected where provided.
In most cases, we do not need to collect your Sensitive Information when you engage with us. You should not disclose any Sensitive Information to us which is not necessary or relevant to disclose. We recommend that you do not include Sensitive Information in your Profile and should be especially mindful when populating free text fields, such as when sending messages to Recruiters or when writing reviews.
We generally collect your Personal Information directly from you, such as when you register and create or claim an account with us, use any of our products and services (including when you communicate with us) or simply visit our Platforms.
However, we may also collect your Personal Information from another entity within the SEEK Group or via third parties such as our Service Providers and Partners, providers such as Google, Facebook or Apple (if you register and sign in to your account through those providers) or from government or regulatory authorities where required by law. If you are a Candidate or Employer, we may collect additional information about you via Recruiters.
We typically use your Personal Information to provide you with and to improve our products and services. This includes enabling Recruiters to create and showcase their Profile Page and Review content, enabling Candidates and Employers to search and connect with Agencies and Recruiters, and recommending Recruiters to Candidates based on matching placement history with Candidate profiles. We also use your Personal Information to send you information regarding our products and services (including to market and promote products and services offered by us and businesses within the SEEK Group).
We also use your information to manage your Profile settings.
Without your Personal Information, we may not be able to provide you with all or some of our products or services.
Section 13 of our Privacy Policy outlines how:
you can access or seek correction of your Personal Information;
how Users can request for their personal information to be deleted; and
how you can complain about our use or handling of your personal information and how we will deal with such a complaint.
This section of the Privacy Policy also contains information on how you can unsubscribe from receiving communications from us, amend your Profile visibility (for Agencies and Recruiters) and make other Personal Information requests (including any privacy complaint).
If you have a Profile that is set to ‘Public’, you may change your visibility setting at any time by contacting us, as outlined in section 15 of our Privacy Policy. However, information that has been indexed or cached by Third Party Platforms and Websites may remain accessible under their independent processes.

We take reasonable steps to ensure the security of our systems and to protect your Personal Information from misuse, interference and loss as well as unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Any Personal Information which we hold is stored on secure servers and protected in controlled facilities.
We retain your Personal Information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and retained as set out in our Privacy Policy or until such time as you request us to delete your Personal Information, after which we will take reasonable steps to delete your Personal Information (as required under applicable Privacy Laws). While we take steps to protect information within our systems, we cannot control or guarantee deletion of information stored or cached by independent Third Party Platforms and Websites if you have selected a Public visibility setting.
